Cowhand Comfort Hamburger Stew

This is another easy recipe that really warms you up and fills your gut! It's easy to add or take out what you want, making it a perfect recipe! While I may have added a little bit to the title, this recipe belongs to one of my new, already dear friends! I can't wait to get to know her better!

Her name is Julianne Harrison and she runs a Sim-Angus cow/calf operation in a small Utah town. Her grandfather bought the operation back in the 60's after his farm in Rich County was taken through eminent domain to build the Woodruff Narrows Dam. He and Julianne's father mostly ran sheep on the new operation, until her father took it over and started changing to cattle. Julianne and her husband ran it with her father for roughly 15 years, until they bought it from him 10 years ago. She gets the special privilege of now running on that ranch with all her children, and the cutest grandkids!

She also has the gift of just throwing things in and making a magical stew! I took the liberties of adding measurements, but you can follow Julianne and easily mix and make it however you'd like!

Ok, one more picture of her grandkids because they are just adorable! Huge "thank you!" Julianne for sharing your wonderful recipe! You are such a great asset to the agriculture world and our community!
