The Bar 21 Ranch Kids Newsletter Submissions

✨✨BIG NEWS!!!✨✨

I believe in the future of Agriculture and that future is completely dependent on our youth. That’s why we are starting “The Bar 21 Ranch Kids Newsletter!” We want to hear from the future leaders about all things agriculture, leadership, teamwork, problem solving, funny or imaginative stories, recipes, and even art! 

I believe that we need to instill in our children at a young age the importance of finding things out for ourselves, working hard, being themselves in a cookie cutter world, dreaming big, and fearing God. If we don’t teach them the law of the harvest and how to respect mankind the world will teach them its lies. Plus, I know that just because they’re “little” does not mean they can’t make a BIG impact in our society! 

And guess what! They don’t need to be farm kids either! Every kid, regardless of lifestyle or age, should always be scientists that find out for themselves what makes the world go round. We will of course require articles to be factual and agriculture based, but we’re more than happy to help edit and work with each child to help them present something they can be proud of while teaching others the true science of agriculture! Agriculture covers more than just food, so the writing possibilities are endless! 

I am so excited for this project and can’t wait to work with you and your children to make this newsletter! All ages under 18 are welcome to submit any of the items listed below. If you think of something we didn’t, we’d love to hear it! If you’re over 18 and would still love to write for us, email me and we’ll see what we can work out with our blog!

Recipes created by the child or child’s family with permission

Artwork: drawings, paintings, photography, etc.

Motivational speeches

Submit to thebar21ranch@gmail.com with the subject “kids newsletter entry.” Add your first name, age, and state your from. We won’t post that info without parent’s written permission, so tell us what you’re comfortable with us sharing, or not! 

The theme for our first one is “Proud to be an American!” While not every entry has to follow the theme, we would love it if they could! 

Submission deadline for the first newsletter will be June 26! We know it’s short notice for this one, but we’d love to get it out for Independence Day or at least soon after! Now that we've thought of it, we'll make sure to give more of a heads up for our quarterly newsletter!

By submitting you promise that the work is the work of the child’s with minimal to no help from others. We want to make sure credit goes where credit should! All work will be reviewed to make sure it’s factual and goes along the standards of The Bar 21 Ranch. While we don’t imagine we ever will use it, we reserve the right to dismiss and reject any article we deem isn’t a good fit for our newsletter. 

If your entry meets all the requirements, it will be published in our newsletter online and throughout social media networks! Those will a featured article will get a printed copy! As you help us grow, we will add awards in different categories at the end of the year! In return, we simply ask that you follow our page, invite friends and family to follow, and share the newsletter on social media when it comes out so it can grow and reach more people!
